ST. JOHNS, Mich. — People living in mid-Michigan are being targeted by scammers posing as health officials.
The Mid-Michigan District Health Department says the scammers appear to be calling from one of the health department's numbers.
The scammers are asking for personal information that could be used to steal someone's identity.
The health department says anyone who receives one of these calls should hang up
