If you get a call from someone saying you missed jury duty, hang up. It is a scam.
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office tells us people claiming to be Lieutenant Hull or Undersheriff Spyke have been calling people and threatening to have them arrested unless they pay a fine over the phone.
Even if you do miss jury duty, police will not call to tell you there's an arrest warrant and they will not demand payment over the phone.
