American One Credit Union teamed up with Meijer and the sheriff's department to spread some holiday cheer.
On Wednesday and Thursday, deputies pulled people over. But instead of asking them if they knew how fast they were going, deputies started asking drivers about their Christmas plans. What drivers didn't know: American One staffers were listening in on the conversation.
Once they found out which items were on the driver's wish list, the team picked up presents at Meijer, and brought the gifts to the traffic stop.
