Advance rider courses are being offered at locations around the state during the summer months.
There is a $50 fee.
You will need to have a motorcycle endorsement on your license and proof of insurance.
The bike must be properly titled and registered, and be able to pass a safety inspection.
Secretary of State Ruth Johnson says - there's always something new that riders can learn to stay safer on the road.
"I have talked to many seasoned riders who were surprised and pleased by how much they learned in the advanced course," said Johnson. "Motorcycling requires good judgment, the ability to manage risk, make quick decisions and react appropriately in an ever-changing riding environment."
