LANSING, Mich. — A new beach and park along the Grand River will open on Wednesday in Lansing.
The grand opening was scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 27 but had to be changed due to weather.
Rotary Park stretches from the Lansing Center to the Shiawassee Street Bridge.
Besides the beach, there's also a lighted forest, an outdoor fireplace, and a place to launch kayaks.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled to happen Wednesday morning.
