ALBION TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office says a woman who caused a rollover crash Monday night had been drinking.
The crash happened in the 26000 block of Anderson Road in Albion Township shortly before midnight.
The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office said the westbound driver lost control and her SUV left the road, crashing into a parked vehicle in a driveway and sending it into the home.
The 43-year-old Springport woman ran away from the scene of the crash. The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office says she was later taken by a private vehicle to a hospital in Eaton Rapids, then transferred to a Lansing hospital with injuries that authorities say were critical but not life-threatening.
Speed and alcohol are believed to be a factor in the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office at 269-781-0880.
