Robots in Singapore have been able to do something that many people dread.

They were able to assemble a dining chair from IKEA.

Researcher's at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore spent three years programming the robots which have arms, grippers, sensors, and 3-D cameras.

The robots were able to assemble the dining chair in just 20 minutes.

The researchers hope at some point that the robots will be able to assemble furniture using artificial intelligence without receiving instructions from a controller.
