The man police think robbed two banks Saturday morning was arraigned in his hospital room today.
James Cole of Lansing is suspected of robbing the First Merit and Comerica Banks on South Cedar Street.
Police tracked him to a house on Bensch Street where he was arrested after a standoff.
He's being treated at a hospital for self-inflicted stab wounds.
Cole is expected to live.
