More construction to report that may impact your commute.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will complete bridge repairs on eastbound I-94 over Dancer Road in Dexter starting April 13 at 9 PM.
"This work is part of an overall $1 million investment in critical repairs to eight structures throughout Washtenaw, Eaton, Ingham, and Jackson counties," said MDOT.
Work will require closing one lane on eastbound I-94 over Dancer Road while beam repairs are completed. There will be one lane open to drivers but people should still expect a 30 to 60-minute delay during peak travel times.
MDOT is recommending that motorists find an alternate route if able.
Dancer Road will be closed below I-94 and traffic will be detoured to accommodate the work. The project is slated to be completed by 5 AM on Friday, April 20.
