LANSING, Mich. — A heads-up to drivers in our area.
We have a couple of road closures to report.
First in Stockbridge, Oakley Rd. from Swan Rd. to Budd Rd. was closed Tuesday morning and will remain closed overnight.
Crews are replacing a cross tube in that area.
Drivers should seek an alternate route.
A second closure is located in Jackson
It also involves road construction that started on Tuesday.
According to the city officials in Jackson, that section of road has not been repaired in years and it has has a number of potholes that need to be filled and repaired.
Construction is expected to last until the end of June.
Residents in that area will still be able to use the road during construction period, but they are asked not to park in the street.
