The Lansing Board of Water & Light will close northbound N. Verlinden Ave. from Osborn Rd. to W. Saginaw St. beginning Monday to complete water main work.
W. Saginaw St. will also be reduced to one lane.
Drivers are advised to detour using westbound Osborn Rd. and north on Stanley St.
Access to local area residences and businesses adjacent to the work areas will be maintained during the project.
Drivers are advised to expect delays and to seek alternate routes.
Work is expected to be complete and roads opened by 6 a.m. on Monday, August 13.
