LANSING, Mich. — Blatantly sexist.
That's what a Livingston County judge is calling the findings of a Judicial Tenure Commission report to oversee misconduct complaints against her.
FOX 47 reported back in December, a retired judge said in the report Judge Theresa Brennan committed gross negligence by hiding her relationship with a lead detective in a murder trial in her court room.
Brennan faces misconduct charges and is already barred from hearing cases.
She's also accused of perjury and destroying evidence in her own divorce case.
She's calling on the Judicial Tenure Commission to reject the report and give her a new hearing with a new judge.
The next hearing in the case is set for next month.
