Residents can participate in county wide recycling event

Have you been looking for a place to get rid of some household items? Clinton County residents can participate in a Free For Fall recycling event on Saturday September 30 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Granger's Facility at 16980 Wood Road in Lansing. 

That's driveway #5.

This event is open to Clinton County residents only.

No appointment is required.

Items that will be accepted are:

  • unwanted medications
  • oil & antifreeze
  • oil based paint
  • yard chemicals
  • pool chemicals
  • cleaners & solvents
  • Electronics (NO Freon containing appliances) - such as TVs ($10 per item charge), computer equipment, computer monitors ($10 per item charge), stereo equipment, speakers, DVD & VCR players. 

You may also bring in paperback & hardcover books, magazines, catalogs and phonebooks to be handled by MSU Surplus and Recycling. 

If you have items that you think are reusable - Volunteers of America and Habitat for Humanity will also be on site.
