Representative Mike Bishop held smaller town hall meetings with his constituents on Monday. People in Michigan's 8th district sat around tables in the American Spirit Centre in Brighton, while they asked questions to their representative.
Bishop says he believes it went well, and many of his constituents seemed to agree that they felt like they were listened to.
Their major complaint? That it was held on a weekday, during normal business hours.
Gretchen Hertz says she knows multiple people who couldn't make the trip to Brighton either because of distance or because of work.
Bishop will host three more town hall meetings in Ingham county on April 20th. The registration for those events are already filled up.
