Michigan and Wisconsin were reportedly key targets for Russian linked Facebook ads during last year's presidential campaign.
CNN is reporting that four sources, with direct knowledge of the situation say the Russian ads appeared highly sophisticated in their targeting of key groups in areas of Michigan and Wisconsin that proved pivotal in Donald Trump's victory last November.
White House officials have not yet commented on the story, but have long insisted there was never any collusion with Russia.
