WASHINGTON DC — A Mid-Michigan Democrat is donating her salary during the government shutdown.
Rep. Elissa Slotkin announced over Twitter she will be donating her paycheck while federal workers go without pay.
Hannah Lindow, press secretary for Slotkin, said the congresswoman will donate her pay to the Alzheimer's Association.
