LANSING, Mich. — A rally protesting President Donald Trump's acquittal in the impeachment trial was held at the State Capitol Wednesday.
Demonstrators say President Trump is abusing his power as president. They are also accusing politicians of covering up President Trump's alleged crimes.
Protestors are asking for a free and fair 2020 election claiming the 2016 election was not one.
Demonstrators say they feel there is voter suppression and they want that to come to an end.
The rally began at 5:30 p.m.
President Trump is expected to address the nation following the acquittal vote Thursday at noon.
