Thursday, August 24 is the last day to register for a food box for your family through "Feed Greater Lansing's Children Family Food Boxes."
This service is put on by the City of Lansing and the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
Families in need must register by 5:00 P.M. Thursday to be able to pick up food next week.
The pick up event is happening on Wednesday, August 30 at Meijer on Lake Lansing Road in East Lansing.
To register families need ID for each child - that could be a student school ID card or Medicaid Card.
