LANSING, Mich. — The local chapter of the American Red Cross is partnering up with Lansing area fire departments to install smoke alarms.
On Wednesday, workers will be out in the Baker-Donora neighborhood in Lansing.
It's all part of the organization's 'Sound the Alarm' campaign.
The Red Cross is installing 100,000 smoke alarms in 100 cities across the country during the two-week initiative.
