The American Red Cross has finalized plans to cut more than 200 jobs in the Great Lakes region, including some in Lansing.
FOX 47 News reported in August that the Red Cross was considering cutting its mobile blood drive operations in Michigan because of a decline in blood demand.
That plan was finalized this week.
About 230 jobs will be eliminated, starting in November.
The Red Cross says it will not affect the state's blood supply.
