LANSING, Mich. — A protest to end family separation and detention centers is happening at the Michigan State Capitol on Friday, July 12.
The Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan are hosting the rally.
The comes after reports of overcrowding and poor living conditions at migrant detention centers, along with children being separated from their parents at the southern border.
The protest starts at 6 p.m.
The public is invited to attend.
