HOLT, Mich. — After nearly two years the Quality Dairy in Holt is finally reopening and it has gotten quite the facelift.
Outside, the store shows off a new patio, walk-up window, and drive-thru.
Inside are maybe the best features though with a beer cave, pizza station, and a hot food station for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which isn't offered at any other location.
People in Holt have been waiting for this opening ever since 2017 when the building caught fire.
When firefighters came to the scene the building was full of smoke.
The opening has been delayed since the fire because of a few reconstruction plans, but the company says the wait will be worth it.
Jeff Schook, Quality Dairy Chief Operations Officer said, "Getting over those hurdles ultimately took Quality Dairy much longer than Quality Dairy anticipated and wanted to take, but ultimately we're here. We're just anxious to be back in Holt. We know Holt missed us and we missed Holt and we want to be back."
Friday is the soft launch and will open at 6 a.m.
Store hours will be from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m until Sunday when the store temporarily closes for the parking lot to be sealed and striped.
The hours will remain constant until August 23, then store hours will pick up to 24 hours, seven days a week.
