More than 80 years ago, Quality Dairy offered Lansing-area customers an alternative to the milkman – an opportunity to buy today’s milk today, fresh from the farm, without waiting for delivery. But starting August 15, Quality Dairy is bringing back the milkman with QD Quick Delivery – and now Lansing’s favorite convenience store is even more convenient.
QD Quick Delivery offers home delivery for more than 2,000 of its most popular products, including a variety of beer, wine and spirits; ice cream and other treats; bakery items like donuts and cookies; fresh deli sandwiches; and staples like QD milk, bread and other household items. QD Quick Delivery delivers within an eight-mile radius of the 500 E Saginaw location, covering downtown Lansing, East Lansing, Michigan State University and many of the surrounding neighborhoods.
“In 1936, Quality Dairy’s founders thought outside the box and gave customers the convenience of picking up their milk and grocery staples from small neighborhood stores,” says Ken Martin, Quality Dairy president. “Today’s customers want a different kind of convenience, and we are proud to carry on QD’s legacy of customer-focused programs with the addition of QD Quick Delivery.”
Customers can expect delivery within two hours of placing their orders, which must be at least $20. Delivery fees range from $4.99 to $7.99, depending on proximity to QD’s East Saginaw location – but customers’ first QD Quick Delivery order will be delivered for free. Quality Dairy is also offering the option of order pick-up at the East Saginaw store.
Quality Dairy is partnering with Vroom Delivery to offer this service to Lansing-area residents. QD Quick Delivery is available Monday-Thursday 6 am-10 pm; Friday 6 am-Midnight; Saturday 8 am-Midnight; and Sunday 8 am-8 pm. Customers can start their order at QDQuickDelivery.com.
