The founder of Bass Pro Shops wants families to put down their digital devices and get outside.
To get more people to discover the joy of fishing Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's are donating 50-thousand fishing rods and reels to help kids connect to the great outdoors.
The rods and reels will be donated to non-profit organizations that help kids from all backgrounds.
Michigan residents can fish for free, meaning you don't need a license, on June 9th and 10th.
