A package of bills that would get rid of "Driver Responsibility" fees in Michigan, passed unanimously through a Senate Committee Wednesday morning.

Secretary of State Ruth Johnson supports the legislation, saying the fees are excessive and devastating to Michigan families.

More than 300,000 drivers owe a total of $634 million in fees.
