LANSING, Mich. — A new wind farm is coming to Hillsdale County.
The Michigan Public Service Commission approved an application by Consumers Energy to buy a 166-megawatt wind farm in Adams, Moscow, and Wheatland Townships.
In the agreement, Crescent Wind, LLC would design, engineer, build, start-up and test the project and then Consumers Energy would buy the wind farm.
That project is expected to be operational by December 31, 2020.
