Public hearing set on scooters operating in Lansing

People living in the Lansing area will their chance to Monday night to tell city leaders how they feel about motorized scooters staying in the city.

A public hearing is scheduled to happen before Monday night's Lansing City Council meeting.

Council members are set to discuss ordinances that set up licensing and regulations to allow companies like Bird and Lime to operate in Lansing.

The rules would also set up where the scooters can be parked and driven.

Monday night's city council meeting is scheduled to happen at 7 p.m. at Lansing City Hall located at 124 W. Michigan Avenue in Lansing.
