Police have recovered property stolen from storage facilities in Jackson County.
The Blackman-Leoni Township Department of Public Safety knows of at least two storage facilities that were broken into, but says there could be more. They are asking anyone using a storage unit in Jackson County to check it to ensure the lock is still in place.
People who have fallen victim to robberies in the last 60 days should call Detective Sergeant Bob Shrock at (517) 990-8239.
Shrock says he has identified a person of interest in the burglaries, but charges have not been filed yet. That person is currently in jail on unrelated charges.
