A local priest is charged with stealing money from his parish.
Father Jonathan Wehrle's preliminary hearing was supposed to happen in June, but it's been pushed back to July 7th. Wehrle's lawyers asked for more time to prepare.
Court documents show investigators believe he wrote nearly $2,000,000 worth of checks of on the Saint Matha's Parish account and used the money for personal expenses including construction of his house.
