Ingham County Sheriff Scott Wrigglesworth will hold a news conference Wednesday morning to update the public on the fatal I-96 crash last weekend that left a 14-year-old girl dead.
She was in the car with her parents and sister when it flipped and hit a tree on Saturday.
The mother was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The father and his 11-year-old daughter received minor injuries.
Deputies say ice and blowing snow played a factor in the crash.
The family is from Eaton Rapids. Their names have not been released.
