President Obama plans to visit Flint Michigan next month to bring attention to the Flint water crisis.
The White House released a statement saying that the President will travel to Flint on Wednesday, May 4th, where he will hear from Flint residents about the public health crisis, and get a briefing on the federal efforts to help the people of Flint.
He will also be speaking to members of the Flint community.
The White House received a letter from an eight-year-old girl, named Mari Copeny, known as "Little Miss Flint" last month.
She told the president how she is working to bring attention to the Flint water crisis and said she hoped to meet President Obama, or the First Lady during an upcoming trip to Washington D.C.
The president wrote back to Mari this week, telling her that he plans to come visit Flint.
