Nearly 1,600 Consumers Energy customers have been in the dark since 10:02 am Wednesday morning.
A spokesman for Consumers Energy tells FOX 47 crews are still trying to determine the cause. Estimated restoration time is currently set at 4:00 pm, but Consumers says that will likely change as crews figure out what's going on.
The outage affects customers between Okemos Road and Van Atta Road and from Grand River Ave to the railroad tracks in the south.
