POTTERVILLE, Mich. — The Potterville Food Bank has received a $2,000 donation from renewable energy company Geronimo Energy.
The donation comes as part of the companies effort to give back to the Eaton County community.
The donation will go toward supporting the food bank's, which is ran by the Sycamore Creek Church, inventory to serve those in need in the community.
“We thank Geronimo Energy for their generous donation to the Potterville Food Bank, which will help us increase our inventory and continue serving our community,” Joann Taylor, a Potterville Food Bank director, said. “We are proud of the work our volunteers do to provide food for the community, and we look forward to continuing to partner with Geronimo Energy to help those in need in Potterville and across Eaton County.”
The Potterville Food Bank distributes more than 110,000 pounds of food to those in need each year.
