For the past four weeks thousands of people have rallied in Michigan as part of the nationwide protest for better wages.
Locals and neighbors will gather at the Capitol for the Michigan's Poor People's Campaign protest starting at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Organizers say the purpose of the protest is to demand lawmakers address inequality in living wages, union rights, and fully funded anti-poverty programs.
