LANSING, Mich. — Police are on the scene investigating a shooting near the Secretary of State's office in Lansing.
Lansing Police got the call for "shots fired" just after 11 a.m. on Monday morning.
The shooting occurred at 3315 E. Michigan Avenue at a Secretary of State branch.
Police told Fox 47 there is a single bullet hole that may have come from the inside.
Police are interviewing witnesses and if you were there and left, they are hoping you'll give them a call and tell them anything you saw.
No one was injured and they said that this is uncommon for the area.
After shots were fired, people were shuffled to the back to be kept safe until police arrived.
The Secretary of State's office is currently closed, and may not reopen for the day.
Police are looking for a suspect.
