Police searching for suspects after attempted armed robbery

Lansing Police officers are looking for two teenagers they say tried to rob a Quality Dairy in Lansing early on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.

LPD officers were dispatched to a Quality Dairy on the 2400 block of East Michigan Ave. on an armed robbery call at 7:00 a.m. When they arrived at the store, the suspects were already gone.

Police say two suspects went into the store and one of them approached a store employee and indicated he had a weapon. He demanded money, and the employee told him no. Both of the suspects then ran out of the store without any money. No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery attempt.

Police have released a description of the two suspects:

Suspect #1:
Black male in his teens, 5’8” 170 lbs. wearing a green sweatshirt with writing on the front, black shorts, flip flops.

Suspect #2:
Light skin black male in his teens, medium build wearing a black sweatshirt and black shorts, with flip flops and blue socks.
