On October 23, 2016, the Kent County Sheriff Department responded to a shots fired complaint within the dormitory area of Davenport University.
Detectives were able to develop a suspect in the shooting and on October 25, 2016, a warrant request was presented to the Kent County Prosecutor's Office.
A four count warrant was authorized for 24-year-old Paul Christopher Howard. The counts are as follows: Discharge firearm in building, carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a weapon with unlawful intent, felony firearm 2nd.
Howard is considered armed and dangerous.
