Jackson police are asking for help finding a man suspected of shooting at a police officer early Sunday morning. They released two pictures of Jalen Page. The picture on the right shows him in December of 2016. The picture on the left shows him in August 2017.

Police were called to the 1100 block of Adrian Avenue in Jackson shortly after 3a.m. Sunday for a report of a domestic assault. The suspect was reported to be Page. An officer saw Page a few minutes later on the 1100 block of South Milwaukee Street. He says Page fired the gun when he tried to stop him. The officer returned fire. Police say Page escaped by running through back yards. A canine unit tracked him to a home on the 300 block of West Biddle Street. Police got a warrant and searched the home but did not find Page. The officer involved in the shooting has been place on leave while the incident is investigated.

Jackson police are asking anyone with information on Jalen Page to call Detective Richard Burkart at (517) 768-8770. FOX 47 and will keep you updated on the search.
