The Jackson County Sheriff's Department is searching for a suspect involved in a home invasion and an armed robbery.
The incident happened on Saturday afternoon in Tompkins Township.
According to police a man forced his way into the home of an 84-year-old woman and tied her up.
He stole some items from her home and a Silver 2011 Dodge Journey.
The victim eventually freed her herself and contacted police.
