Jackson police are searching for three men who broke into a home Wednesday morning and robbed the people inside at gunpoint.
Officers were dispatched to a home in the 1000 block of Milwaukee Street around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The Jackson Police Department tells FOX 47 three armed men went into the home and forced the people inside to get on the floor. The suspects stole cell phones and other items before running away.
A police K-9 tracked the suspects to a vacant home in the 1000 block of Martin Street, the next street over.
Police surrounded the home and ordered anyone inside to come out. After a short while of no response, police obtained keys from the landlord and a search warrant to go inside the home. The suspects were not found inside, police said.
No information about the suspects is available at this time.
