**Previous Story**
An endangered child alert has been issued for a missing 10-month-old baby who was taken by his father.

Michigan State Police say the child’s father, Richard Cameron Humphrey Jr., was last seen in the Jackson area.

Police believe Humphrey Jr. is driving a black 1999 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab with a missing front bumper and a red ratchet strap holding up the tailgate.

The driver’s side door is also missing.

The 10-month-old baby is described as 24 inches tall, weighing 22 lbs., with blonde/bald hair and blue eyes.

The child’s mother, Rebecca Bartley, filed a temporary order on July 28 for custody of the child who is currently with his father.

Bartley is concerned for the child’s safety due to Humphrey Jr.’s prior abuse and violent incidents.

Humphrey Jr., who is homeless, has threatened to leave the state.

If you have seen Humphrey Jr. or have any information, you’re asked to call the Mason Police Department at (517) 676-2458 or call 911.
