FAYETTE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WSYM) - The search is on for a boy who has gone missing again in Hillsdale County.

9-year-old Jace Landon Lyon has been missing since Saturday in Fayette Township.

Lyon has light brown hair, brown eyes, and a small scar on the left side of his head with missing hair.

The Michigan State Police Jackson Post is working on the search along with the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department.

MSP brought K9’s in to help with the search on Saturday and Sunday afternoon but have not been successful in tracking Lyon down.

This isn’t the first time Lyon has ran away from home.

FOX 47 News covered the search when Lyon went missing on January 18.

Lyon was found safe and in good health a couple days later on January 20.

FOX 47 News obtained court documents in January which show Lyon was having a tough time at home.

Records show Lyon was left home alone often while his mother worked long hours, sometimes even overnight, if his mother was on call at her job in Marshall.

The boy reportedly got "whoopings" and said he was scared of his mother.

Documents show Lyon had to check in every 30 minutes with his mother or he would get yelled at.

We have not confirmed what prompted Lyon to go missing again.

If you have any information on Lyon’s whereabouts, call the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office or Michigan State Police.
