LANSING, Mich. — There's new information that might help to clear up some of the confusion over Monday night's shooting in Lansing.

Police said that one of the victims involved in the Ferris Park shooting was found at a home on Illinois Avenue.

Three people were shot in the Ferris Park shooting. Two of them are being treated for gunshot wounds and the third, 17-year-old Taijion Gant, died at the scene.

Police said they do have a "person of interest" in custody.

On Thursday, Lansing Mayor Andy Schor will be hosting what he calls a "community conversation" about gun violence.

The gathering will take place in the lobby of City Hall from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The Mayor will be joined by Acting Police Chief Daryl Green.
