LANSING, Mich. — An accident in Eaton County has left one man dead.
The Eaton County Sheriff's Office reports that around 2:15 p.m. on Thursday a motorcycle accident occurred on I-496 in Delta Township.
The county sheriff says no other vehicles were involved.
They say that a motorcycle that was traveling on the ramp from westbound I-496 to eastbound I-96 lost control and struck the guardrail.
The driver was David Christopher Eichenberg, 61, from Delta Township.
He was wearing a helmet.
Police say that speed is believed to be a factor.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
