Police are looking for whoever wrote racial slurs on the doors of three African American students at the University of Michigan.

University police say the graffiti was written Saturday night and was discovered yesterday morning.

The university's black student union says the n-word was found written underneath the name tags of the students on their dorm room doors.

The university's president released a statement saying racism has no place at the university.

Campus police have also increased patrols in the residence halls where the racial slurs were found.
