An East Lansing police officer was injured over the weekend after their patrol car was rear-ended.
The department shared a picture of the damaged patrol vehicle on their Facebook page.
The department says the officer is expected to be fine after being released from the hospital.
The post says "let's use this as a reminder to take it slow...and move over for stopped emergency vehicles.
