Using medical and dental records, the Michigan State Police was able to identify the two victims in Monday’s fatal crash on I-94 between Dearing and Parma roads.
The driver of the vehicle that was rear-ended by the semi has been identified as Duane Ferry, 58, of Bronson. The second victim was was a passenger in the vehicle has been identified as Ferry’s 80-year-old mother, Beverly, of Coldwater.
The driver of the semi, a 54-year-old man from Ontario, Canada, remains in U of M hospital in critical condition.
The Michigan State Police continues to investigate the crash that happened shortly after 11 a.m. Monday.
