A memorial service to honor fallen police officers will be held in downtown Jackson Wednesday.
Officers with the Jackson Police Department, Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Blackman-Leoni Township Department of Public Safety, and Michigan State Police will be on hand for the annual Jackson Law Enforcement Memorial.
The special service commemorates Jackson police officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.
The public is welcome to attend the event happening at the CP Federal City Square at 212 W. Michigan Avenue in Jackson at noon.
