LANSING, Mich. — A man is recovering in the hospital after police say he crashed his truck into a house in Lansing Thursday morning.

Officers with the Lansing Police Department responded to a report of truck that crashed into a house on the 600 block of West Sheridan around 12:30 a.m.

The crash caused siginificant damage to the truck and home.

The damage to the home was mostly cosmetic and no structural damage was done, police said.

The man driving the truck was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No one inside the home was hurt.

Alcohol and a medical emergency involving the driver are believed to be factors in the crash, police said.
