A 19-year-old woman was arrested shortly after breaking into a home in Aurelius Township Thursday morning.
The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies were called to a residence on Kingman Road around 2 a.m. The home owner reported that someone had broken into her home and stole items.
After the robbery, the suspect left on foot.
The East Lansing Police K9 Unit was called in and was able to track the suspect to a nearby home, the sheriff’s office says.
The 19-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with the home invasion. She is currently being held in the Ingham County Jail pending arraignment.
